This 685 series 1/2" polypropylene check valve has FKM seals and a Hastelloy spring with a 1/3 PSI cracking pressure. It holds prime and stops backflow in chemical lines, and is well suited to bleach (sodium hypochlorite) service.
Polypropylene resists corrosion and stands up well to soft wash chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite and surfactants. This fitting is meant for low-pressure transfer, suction, soft wash and chemical lines, not for the high-pressure side of a pressure washer.

Typical Applications
Soft wash rigs, chemical transfer and mixing, tank plumbing, pump suction lines and agricultural spraying.
Note: Use PTFE tape or a thread sealant compatible with polypropylene. Hand-tighten, then snug lightly. Over-tightening can crack poly threads.
