This brass pump inlet fitting connects a garden hose to a 1/2" male NPT pump inlet. The swivel nut lets you connect the hose without twisting it. It is meant for the low-pressure water supply side, not the high-pressure outlet.
Brass resists corrosion and is easy to seal, making it a good all-round choice for water and mild chemical plumbing.
