The AR 110130 wing nut (1/2" G thread) is a replacement plumbing nut for the AR45 soft-wash diaphragm pump, breakdown position 17. Hand-tighten for quick tool-free service.
The wing nut lets you open and close the plumbing connection by hand for quick service, without tools that can crack plastic threads. Bleach exposure and repeated tightening can wear or split the nut, which leads to leaks or a connection that loosens under vibration. Hand-tighten only, and replace the matching O-ring when you change the nut.
