The AR 720031 O-ring (22.22 x 2.62 mm) seals the manifold on the AR45 soft-wash diaphragm pump, breakdown position 2. The pump uses several; sold individually.
O-rings on a soft-wash diaphragm pump live in constant contact with sodium hypochlorite and surfactants, so they harden, flatten and weep over time. A small leak at a seal can let the pump suck air, lose prime or drip chemical onto the frame. Replace this seal whenever the joint is opened, and inspect neighboring seals at the same time. Lightly lubricate with a chemical-compatible O-ring grease before assembly and seat it evenly in its groove to avoid pinching.
